EXPERTISE
PASTORAL CARE &
"TOTAL WELL-BEING"
Originally grounded in Dr. Farah Ibrahim's World-view counseling theory, and then integrated with the Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets, my total well-being approach to student learning and behavior development focuses on the whole student (personal, social and academic), and encompasses all members of the learning community. Examples of this cognitive behavioral approach is found in the replacement of discipline procedures by corrective actions with student development interventions, and the alignment of all curricular and extracurricular activities and events with both the academic curriculum and the Search Institutes developmental assets. Expertise is in multicultural counseling, behavioral management and transitional adjustments within an inclusive environment.

OFFICE AUTOMATION & DISTANCE LEARNING
Family expectations and aptitude landed me in Engineering School, but my passions led me to International Relations, followed by a Master's in Public Administration and doctoral studies in Educational Psychology. This varied path enriched me with a unique skill set, valuable to organizations that seek to compete in a global market. I am tech savvy, have rapidly learned 4th generation languages on a project specific basis, have keen organization insight to workforce productivity and efficiency and can readily adapt manual practices to new technologies, and regularly train staff in new office technologies.. As one recent example, the COVID-19 crisis led me to develop and manage a virtual student center, pastoral care and advisory services
